Alia Gabres is a strategic programming and engagement expert with a speciality in cultural brokerage. She has worked with communities globally for over ten years. She has led strategic programming design and implementation initiatives in various organisations, including non-profits, local governments and start-ups. As a first-generation migrant, she now calls Oakland home by way of Melbourne and Keren, Eritrea. Her favourite title is being called Mama by her baby girl.
