Claire Bridge is an artist working across sculpture, painting and moving image, exploring ecological and cultural hybridity. Of Anglo-Indian-Australian and Deaf heritage, Bridge is a hearing grandchild of Deaf Adults, and a former Auslan interpreter and researcher at the National Institute for Deaf Studies. Her major exhibitions include ‘Melbourne Now 2023’ at NGV Australia and ‘What I Wish I’d Told You’, a touring exhibition of Deaf Auslan stories, in collaboration with Chelle Destefano and the Deaf community. clairebridgeartist.com
