CQ Quinan (they/them) is a Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies (School of Culture and Communication) at the University of Melbourne. Their research expertise lies in trans studies and queer theory. CQ is also a key investigator on an EU-based research project that brings together academics, practitioners, NGOs, policymakers and other stakeholders to assess lived experiences of non-binary legal gender recognition.
CQ has contributed a chapter on gender and public space (with Simona Castricum) for the second edition of The RITP.
