Lia Pa’apa’a is an artist, creative producer and mama who has cultural connections to Samoa and the Luiseño nation in Southern California. Based in Gimuy (Cairns) Lia works across regional and remote northern Australia. Lia’s practice is interdisciplinary and explores the revitalisation, reclamation and reimaging of ancestral practices to support parents, families and communities.
Lia has contributed a chapter on creatively and culturally safe spaces for the second edition of The RITP.
